Inner Storms

On a stormy night, Ororo and Logan confront their deepest emotions, where fury and comfort intertwine, testing the limits of their relationship and their ability to heal.
Whereas this does, on the surface, seem to be a bit of a cliche RoLo moment, the emotions are deep, intense, and beautifully vivid, and there are intricate details within that speak VOLUMES for this, one of my all-time favorite X-Men pairings, that I've rarely, if ever, seen any other author hit on. Definitely worth the read for all RoLo fans!

The Mask

Spike hadn't expected Buffy to invite him to any kind of party, let alone a Halloween party, but she did. He promised to go - and he promised to wear a costume. Even though the costume he promised to wear includes a mask that is quite unpleasant to wear. It covers most of his head, impedes his vision, smells unpleasantly of the material of which it was made - and, he realizes much too late, feels an awful lot like being trapped inside a coffin. And yet ... he promised to wear it.
LOVE what the author does here with Spike's PTSD -- and the VOLUMES of love and dedication he has for Buffy! This is souled!Spike with William's love and dedication pouring out very lovingly and adoringly!
